Unlike a traditional barbell squat, the SSB has padded shoulder rests and front-facing handles. This allows you to maintain a neutral grip, significantly reducing stress on the shoulders, elbows, and wrists—ideal for those with mobility issues or recovering from upper body injuries. 

The cambered design shifts the load slightly forward, forcing your upper back, traps, and core to work harder to keep you upright. This promotes better posture and trunk stability, which can carry over to other lifts.
