A Multi-Grip Alternative for Your Strength Training

The Bells of Steel Arch Nemesis Swiss Bar combines a cambered frame with three angled neutral-grip positions. Use the different handles for compatible pressing and rowing movements, or connect the built-in cable attachment point to a suitable cable machine for additional training options.

The 32mm handles are knurled for grip, while the black powder-coated frame gives the bar a consistent finish. Its fixed 49.7mm sleeves accept Olympic plates and suitable Olympic collars; axle collars are not required.

Training Options

Suitable movements include Swiss-bar bench presses, bent-over rows, overhead presses and compatible cable exercises. Always check your rack, J-cup spacing and cable connection before use.

I use it for pressing, rowing, and as an alternative pull up bar on top of my rack. It’s fantastic for all of these. Shoulders and elbow feel great when using it. Wide handles give me a range of motion akin to dumbells. Customer service is also incredible and fast.

Watched several videos on Swiss/camber bars and decided on the BofS version. Actually wanted the triceps bar because it would have taken care of most of my exercises but it was/is sold out so went for the jumbo bar instead. Arrived pretty quickly, finish somewhat grainy and knurling rather aggressive, which I prefer. Like other "home gym" guys, I don't have a dedicated gym, just the rack and other gear jammed in my living area, which also includes a TV, piano, sofas and a 7-foot Nosferatu. Because of the space issue, Nosferatu will likely have to relocate to the garage.

For the price, this is a great bar. I primarily bought this as a benching bar and for that it does a fantastic job. The bar feels balanced and sturdy and you get a great stretch from the arched design. The bar is lighter than a standard barbell, but I actually don't mind the smaller weight. It makes it easier to move around and can still handle plenty of weight. The sleeves while powdercoated, are very grippy and fit olympic sleeves. If I had to complain, it is very tight in my rack. I have a 47" rack and while it works, there is not much wiggle room. For those with 49" this should not be a problem. I am able to make it work and I believe some wider J cups should alleviate this. Overall though, it is a great bar and I'm glad I got this one over other options.

I spent a lot of time shopping for a swiss bar, considering price, quality, reviews, etc... and settled on the Arch Nemesis Swiss bar. I'm new to lifting, and am very impressed with this bar! The camber design allows me to get nice and low for benching. Quality is good - no issues with welds. Knurling is very mild, almost unnoticable. I love how the sleeves are large enough to accommodate any olympic collar. The bar is just large enough to be rackable for my rack - there isn't much wiggle room, but I does fit. I suppose it needs to be small enough to be useful as a lat cable attachment.

My only gripe is the knurling, which isn't really a big deal for me. I wish it was a touch more aggressive, but this isn't a deal breaker.

Highly recommend! can't beat the price.

Purchased the Arch Nemosis Bar to add to my home gym. Been following Bells for a while and read great reviews on the company so I pulled the trigger and picked one up. I had a few questions and emailed and recieved a repo se in a hour or so which was great. Bar came in about a week or so to NJ and was well wrapped. No dings which is a plus. Welds were spot on and looked neat. I took it thru a quick run and did a few sets of chest presses and loved the range of motion. Mind you the primary purpose I got it was for different lat pull downs. Then I did a few sets of arm curls and it was great. Bar is about 40lbs which is great. Now to lat pull downs. Great to have different hand placements to attack back different ways. Overall I can say I am impressed by the bar. For what I need its great to have different hand placements. And it can be used for chest and arm days which is a super plus. And A+ for customer service and getting back to my few questions. I would highly recommend these guys!

Had a couple shoulder surgeries so a Swiss bar was called for. Overall a great value. Picked up on sale so was well under $200 and is a great value. Had issues racking on a monster light rack. It fits but not much room on either side. Solved by placing 5 pound steel weights inside the bigger plates. Had never done that before but it works and is an easy fix since we all already have those. Knurling is very weak. Get yourself some tape. For the price a great solver of shoulder issues.

Overall I'm very happy with this bar. I wanted a swiss bar for a while and I'd actually used one of these at a gym I go to every now and then and knew I liked it. When it went on sale for $150 I knew I needed to jump on it at that price. There are cons like the weight but I'm sure that keeps the price down. I'm unsure I'll use the cable attachment. I already had some adjustable clips so the sleeve size was a non-issue for me.
Powder coat was good with only like 2 minor dings (I use my equipment so not worried about this at all). Welds look solid even if not the prettiest (again I don't care about that really).
The biggest thing I don't like about the bar is the label they stick on it. It isn't centered to the cable attachment so it's driving my OCD crazy.

Overall I love this bar but there were some things that I really didn’t like on this order and will prevent me from buying from BoS for quite awhile in the further.

The label plate on the bar is on the wrong side for when using this for pressing. Not a major deal just a lack of QC is all.

Packaging was minimal at best. Come with a few dings around it I touched up with a paint pen. Again cosmetic no major deal.

My main issue is I placed this order with this bar being in stock. Took awhile for it to actually ship(I don’t count creating a label for shipment only when it leaves the facility) and then a week goes by and no update on tracking at all. So I reach out to CS and they have always been amazing no fault there. They had to create a case for the shipment and it finally arrived over two weeks on a in stock item. And I don’t live very far from where this bar came from either.

I have bought so much from BoS in the past and this is the biggest problem I’ve had to date. Still saying a lot good about them. But I’ll be waiting awhile for them to get their logistics in line before placing another order from them again.
