Hydra Vertical Uprights

I've bought several different uprights in the past, from titan, rep, rogue even have the Manticore uprights, but imo the Hydra is by far the best and my person favorite over all the other ones. The size, color, finish it's all top quality and great price. No need to look anywhere else.

And versatile. I gather this is a widely held opinion that this gear is of high quality. I can't see how anyone could think of it otherwise.

I have a Rogue Monster Lite HR-2 rack and have been wanting to expand to a 6 post for quite some time. I have a custom made Reverse Hyper that I take on/ off the Rogue spotter arms but wanted it in the rack permanently without taking away functionality.

I purchased 2 x hydra 90 inch uprights, 2x 17 inch cross members (to mount the RH to) and 2x 30 inch cross members.

I turned my rack into Rogue ML 390F, then added the rogue uprights off the back resting on the floor (with 5mm spacers to accommodate the flange on the bottom of the rogue flat foot components).

Quality of the BOS components are great, super impressed considering I've always been "Rogue or nothing".

Will be purchasing more BOS components in the future.

Added the hydra vertical upright with cross members to extend my hydra rack laterally. This gave me another upright to attach my BOS shoulder boulder.

I attached one 84” upright to the back side of my basement stairs to permanently install my Shoulder Boulder attachment, seal row pad, and Ancore trainers on. Now I don’t have to store the shoulder boulder on the floor in a box and can quickly work out my shoulders with reverse flys daily. Trying to get my shoulders stronger every day The 84” height of the upright was perfect to not be too close to the overhead water and gas pipes. I also love how the holes in the upright have laser etched numbers. Much better than having to stencil the numbers on them. Nice touch!

These are solid, and at that price, you can't complain. Love the Westside spacing on the uprights! Truly the best option when it comes to shipping in Canada. These will definitely outlast me lol

Using these to build stand alone rack attachment stations the first one is for the boulder shoulder the next one is for the Mammoth Belt Squat
I'm going to buy a Rogue chin up bar for the upper crossmember to connect them. Will add a wrist roller and split squat attachments.. Thinking about a third upright so the second and third could have jammer arms and the Bells of Steel Krakens..

They came packaged well and they have a great blue color (which was at a discount)! I bought uprights to upgrade my Rogue Monster Lite Squat Stand to a Half Rack and the BOS members just look SO MUCH BETTER. Everything fit well and all holes lined up. My only regret is not buying BOS first. I’m a now a forever customer!

I have the Rogue Monster Light rack. I wanted to move my plates from the tree to the rack so purchased the Hydra uprights, cross members, flat foot components and plate pegs. I was nervous the holes wouldn’t line up, but it all worked perfectly. Also, I reversed the uprights so that the BOS are in front. They have numbers cut into them which I found was a shortcoming of the Rogue uprights. I couldn’t be happier — other than having purchased my entire rack from BOS to begin with. Didn’t discover them until recently.

I had very specific space requirements to expand my Rogue rack and the BOS Hydra uprights perfectly met the need in a way Rogue wasn’t able to. These uprights are so good I’m considering replacing the other uprights with BOS as well

Works great. Using as a bar rack right now and a bunch of odds and ends. Got 42 and 72. Got shelves from another company and bolt up fine. Had a 2x2 decided to upgrade couldn't be happier

These uprights are great. Very sturdy, no scrapes on them when they arrived. Lots of holes, well-numbered. When putting this together make sure to pay attention to which side of the uprights have the BOS logo. They are only on one side and probably should face the outside of the rack on either side. I have a folding rack and it did take some adjustment of loosening and tightening the bolts on the brackets, and the rack to find the right balance to where the rack would close and look even and the crossbars would sit comfortably in the brackets without too much tension when folded in. The only grip might be that the pull-up bar brackets are so big they take up like 3 holes that could be used for other things but that's a small complaint. This rack is industrial strength. I am very happy with the quality. I plan to add on some pully's very soon.

I purchased the shortest uprights to make a double post weight rack with a variety of spare parts that I had laying around from past racks. I also used a set of the new short feet that Bells of Steel offers for the new plate tree and shortened them down with a chopsaw to create the base. For around $300 of Bells of Steel and Rogue parts (some of which I already owned), I was able to create a custom bumper plate holder that is rock solid, poses no risk of tipping, and is supports a landmine and dips.
