The main reason for me to upgrade from my old squat stand to a full rack was because of the lat pulldown attachment. I purchased the 4-post rack together with this attachment and it totally transformed my workout experience.
The entire setup is better quality than the one at my commercial gym. The integration within the rack and engineering are well thought through. The pulley system is smooth and well designed. The weight stack and the axis are working seamlessly.
The design makes the setup extremely versatile. I use the attachment for a wide range of exercises: beyond pull down and low row - add biceps and triceps curls, face pulls, pull ups, chest cross overs... I plan on adding an attachment to my bench to also do leg and hamstring curls.
I am 6’4” and need space. The lat pulldown attachment allows for a decent range of motion. The few instances where I felt limited were solved with better positioning. I get a full stretch on the pull down, which was one of my biggest concerns when I purchased. I am extremely happy about that. Plus it comes with a proper leg holder.
So, in conclusion – I would totally recommend this addition to your rack: great build, smooth, well-engineered, versatile, good range of motion.

First off, I own the plate loaded version and gave this thing 5 stars. Unbelievable for the price. People will complain about the attachments, chain, carabiners, etc., but at this price point you should be happy to replace them cause you'll STILL save money.
I added this to my 90" Rogue RM6, and want to be very clear on the changes/adaptations I had to make. I added the photos I felt were relevant to help you.
1) You must use the Rogue cross member I have in my photos, do not get the BOS -- it sits too low and I just couldn't get it to work. The Rogue crossmember must also be sitting flush with the top of the rack, it's highest setting.
2) The lower Rogue crossmembers that connect the 90" posts must be in the lowest position possible. The bolts and washers from Rogue are too large and interfere with the unit. I had to replace the rogue bolts with the BOS ones because they are slightly smaller and use smaller washers. I ended up reusing the rogue bolts to secure the top and bottom of the pulldown to their respective crossmembers. I even had to hold the nut "flat" just to clear the top of the bottom rogue crossmember. It's a super tight fit but works (again, see photos and you'll understand what I mean while you install it haha).
3) Basic advice, use all the hole positioning I show you in the pics, loosen all the bolts on your rack and only tighten it down once everything is in place. The unit works beautifully, but I had to be patient to get it right and perfect.
I really hope this helps. I'm a BOS fan, have tons of their accessories, and this one is a must have IMO.

Excellent addition to my Manticore 4 post and for a very good price. My only minor critique is the Manticore version really should come with uhmw on the leg holder and with mag pins like other Manticore attachments. Even if you just wrapped some foam onto one of the adjustable pull up bars you guys sell and voila fixed.
Overall very happy with the purchase it has added a lot of exercise selection to my program.

I turned my 4 post rack into a 6 post side by side and added the Lat Pulldown & Low Row Rack Attachment. It lined up PERFECTLY with my existing rack from another company that might rhyme with vogue. I now have a dedicated cable setup without having to interrupt my power rack setup. If you've got the space, this is a great solution for not having to break down and setup in-between sets. The only knock I can give is it would be nice to receive an expected packing list. My order arrived in 10 or 11 different boxes over the course of about 8 days. I wasn't sure when it would end or the UPS driver would quit. BOS customer service was prompt with their responses and seemed to care about my satisfaction. Well done, I will continue purchasing from BOS!

I’m very impressed with the added functionality to my Rogue Monster Lite half rack. I didn’t enjoy the cheap pulley systems with the swaying weight pins — it never felt secure and setup was too long. This fixes all those issues. My only knock on this product, was the lack of instructions and/or clear illustrations in the manual

This connected seamlessly to my Rogue RML-390F flat foot rack. Just be sure you buy the Bells of Steel 43” rear crossmember as well. Finally, after years of waiting for Rogue to create a pulldown/row attachment in this style, the wait is over. Thanks, BoS! Now that I’m a fan, I need you to restock the Seal Row Pad . . .

I am thrilled to give the Hydra 90 Inch Lat Pulldown attachment a five-star rating because it has been a game changer for my home gym. This accessory has exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, functionality, and value for money.
First and foremost, the build quality of the Hydra attachment is exceptional. It lives up to its advertised claims and is comparable to other 3x3 rack attachments available on the market. The overall construction is heavy-duty and very solid, ensuring a durable and reliable performance. I appreciate that the product is of such high quality, as it gives me confidence in its longevity.
The delivery of the Hydra attachment was quick, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that shipping was free. Many other companies charge exorbitant fees for heavy equipment like this, so it was a welcome bonus to receive it without any additional costs. Although the packaging suffered some rough handling during transit, the internal contents were properly packaged, and nothing was disfigured or damaged.
One aspect that stands out about the Hydra attachment is its design. Despite not being specifically designed for a Hydra rack, it attaches seamlessly to my Rogue rack with some minor modifications, instead of purchasing another cross-member and having an extra piece of equipment I don’t use. I decided to make my own adjustments to my current cross member using a step drill bit and a drill to create a hole in the existing cross-member for installation. Once installed, it worked perfectly. I admire the versatility of this attachment, as it provides me with a wide range of exercise options.
While I am highly satisfied with the product, I have one small recommendation for improvement. It would be beneficial if the manufacturer could include a few more holes in the diagonal portion of the lower cross member. These additional holes would allow for the attachment of weight storage pegs, enabling convenient weight storage closer to the Lat tower. This modification would enhance load adjustment while saving space and avoiding interference with other equipment. I plan to send the manufacturer a photo of my setup in the hopes that they might consider incorporating this handy modification in future designs.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Hydra 90 Inch Lat Pulldown attachment. It has added tremendous value, versatility, and functionality to my home gym. The product's quality, price, and the fact that it fits my rack despite not being specifically designed for it make it a fantastic addition. I highly recommend this accessory to anyone looking to elevate their workout routine and expand the capabilities of their home gym!

I believe Dr. Mike Israetel has said that all you really need for your home gym is a rack, barbell, plates, (adjustable) dumbbells, and an adjustable bench. But if you want to level up, just add a lat pulldown/low row,.
Starting my home gym during the pandemic, and having a low ceiling in my basement, I opted for the 70” Rogue Monster Lite squat stand. It is of course built like a tank. But Rogue has no lat pulldown/low row option for this setup, unlike BoS.
I ordered the BoS attachment for a 72” rack/squat stand, plus the 43” BoS crossmember (has holes in the top/bottom). All good. However, the great couple I hired here in Seattle to put the lat pulldown/low row together warned me that a squat stand alone wouldn’t provide sufficient stability for the attachment. Oops!
I found a couple of Reddit posts where someone had used Rogue’s HR-2 HALF RACK CONVERSION KIT, which is intended to convert a 90” RML squat stand into a four-post rack, and had instead used the kit to convert their 70” RML SML-1 squat stand into a four-post rack. (Rogue explicitly says don’t do this / it can’t be done / etc., but the kit’s uprights are 70” and the Reddit posts/pics looked solid to me.)
So I bit the bullet and ordered the Rogue conversion kit, and the couple I’d hired came back and put it all together.
The result? A more versatile rack that does what it needs to rather well, though not perfectly. The 70” height combined with somewhat short cable travel means that I have to adjust my position at times to not reach the end of the cable. I’ve also had to play around with attaching a chain for certain exercises (I’m looking at you, standing isolated abductors/adductors!).
I think these limitations are due more to the squat rack height than to the attachment itself, though I imagine even the 90” or 108” attachment versions are no match for a dedicated cable tower, which would also allow dual cable crossover movements.
But I digress. The other small gripe I have is with the leg hold bar. It requires lots of unencumbered upright space to position, which I didn’t have at first due to where bolts were positioned in the rack. (I have several plate holders bolted into the uprights, and the bolts got in the way when trying to insert the leg holder.) But I moved the plate holders/bolts, and now I have “clean enough” uprights to be able to use the leg holder.
The pulleys are aluminum and work well. Regularly-performed exercises:
Lat pulldowns (of course)
Low rows (of course)
Cable bicep curls
Cable abdominal crunches
Isolated abductors/adductors with ankle strap
Isolated shoulder (delt) variations
Seated overhead cable tricep extensions with long rope
Overall, this is a solid addition to my squat rack. Though converting my two-post squat stand to a four-post rack was not an anticipated expense when I ordered the attachment, I’m glad to have the extra stability and versatility that a four-post rack offers over a squat stand.

This attachment is the reason I decided to upgrade my current power rack to a Manticore rack. Overall, I am very happy with the lat pulldown and low row rack attachment, but there is a design flaw that keeps me from loving it.
The Good: The leg holder is exactly what I was looking for in a lap pulldown attachment and the one that comes with this attachment is excellent. I could not find this detail anywhere before my purchase and I tried, the weight horns have about 10.5” of usable space. This was important to me to ensure that all the plates that I want would fit. The overall build quality is excellent. The aluminum pully system is very smooth. The lat bar and curl bar are very basic and seem misaligned compared to the rest of the Manticore line, but they will get the job done. One minor issue is that the bumpers for the weight carriage will stick with heavier weights and then come crashing down with a loud sound. It is minor, but something that could be improved upon.
The Bad: I found that a review on YouTube had mentioned issues with the angles that the lat pulldown part was useful due to the frame cutting into the cable. I also ran into this same issue, but it was not mentioned that holder can compromise the cable as well. In all the photos of the lat pulldown attachment, a chain is used with the lat bar. I understand why, now. I am only 5’8” tall and with the 84” Manticore cage using a chain would not allow for a full range of motion with the lat pulldown so I opted not to use it initially. However, this caused cutting into the cable. I see the design problem as twofold: the angle in which the lat pulldown needs to be increased without cutting the cable and the arms that hold the lat bar should be aligned with the end of the pully to again prevent cutting the cable.
It is a very good product that with a few improvements could become a great one.

This is is a great option to add to my Manticore rack. The setup is relatively straightforward and the cable and pulleys are smooth. BoS can benefit from improved documentation vs. just providing what looks like schematics. Smooth pulley system. The lat pull down bar and straight bar are just not good and you will want to look elsewhere to get gym-like experience or knurled handles.
The facts, fitting notes and package information for this product.
Add lat pulldowns, low rows and cable accessory exercises to a compatible Hydra or Manticore rack.
Choose plate-loaded or weight-stack loading, the correct rack system and the height matching your uprights. Weight-stack configurations are available for 84″ and 90″ racks. A suitable 43″ rear crossmember with top mounting holes is required. Allow extra rear depth and approximately 4.5″ of overhead clearance. Olympic plates are sold separately for plate-loaded options.
