Great Experience
I’m extremely happy with my Bells of Steel Manticore squat rack. The quality is excellent—it’s a heavy-duty rack that is very well put together, with neat, clean welds and a solid, stable...Read full review
The customer service was excellent. I worked with a sales representative while designing and purchasing the rack, and they were very helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the process. I bought a combo with the lat pulldown attachment and wanted to minimize the overall footprint. I also had specific limitation with ceiling height. We worked together to design the most efficient solution. Having someone available to answer questions and help with the design made the whole experience much easier.
Shipping and delivery were generally great as well. I received the full pallet within a week, and everything was wrapped and packaged very well. One box was missing from the shipment, but Bells of Steel shipped it out immediately. Most importantly, nothing arrived damaged or scratched.
Overall, I’m very impressed with both the Manticore rack and the buying experience. Great build quality, excellent customer service, and a smooth delivery process. I would definitely recommend it.

As soon as it arrived and I saw the solid and really well finished uprights, then started to assemble and saw how good everything fitted together I actually thought this is a bargain for the price.
The thing is built like a tank, lat pulldown is smooth as a butter and smith machine is mint. I mean my house insurance halved straight away cause if the roof caves in this beast will not budge.
And it definitely looks the part as well 😍
I honestly don’t think you can get better for the price 💪👊💪

PS- you cannot beat the magnet pin system. I don’t know if it’s common in rack builders, but it feels so fancy.

I upgraded from my BoS light commercial to the Manitcore 4 post and this thing is solid.
At first I was hesitant on a 4 post design due to stability concerns as my only experience has been with cheaper lighter racks and I am not interested in bolting anything to my basement floor. The Manticore is heavy duty and solid, this thing weighs a ton and is extremely stable even with the 4 post design. I honestly couldn’t tell a difference between it and the flat foot design in terms of stability. Quality is great, easy to assemble, and the modular design is a cool idea as I can always upgrade to a 6 post in the future by adding a couple more pieces if I want to.
As for design specifics I opted for a crossmember on both the front and back for extra stability and moved the pull up bar to the middle which has been working great.
For reference anyone planning their build I got the 90” upright height, 43” cross member depth, from my understanding the bigger the footprint the more stability, as well I like space inside my rack so I went with the 43” depth as that is what I was used to with my light commercial. My basement height is 96” (unfinished) btw.
Exceeds my high expectations - lifetime purchase without question
I've been waiting for my pre-order for about two months...Over that time I've worried as to whether I would regret the BOS quality relative to a REP or Rogue rack..I wasn't looking to pin...Read full review
You can surely find more premium attachments like the dip station and landmine attachment from the likes of Rogue, but the rack and safeties along with mag pins leaves absolutely nothing to be desired...completely top-notch...one of the most premium feeling items in my premium home gym.
This is one of those few purchases that I know will be a lifetime purchase. Well done, BOS!!!
