Good questions. Clear answers.

Before you choose

Is the conversion kit a complete tower?

No. It converts a compatible existing plate-loaded Oblivyon to a stack. Select a complete plate-loaded or weight-stack package if you need a tower.

Does it need secure mounting?

Yes. The supplier requires anchoring to a suitable floor, wall or power rack. Anchoring fixings are not included. A back upright is strongly recommended for floor mounting.

Are Hydra and Manticore attachments interchangeable here?

The keyhole design supports correctly matched Hydra and Manticore attachments. Pin size alone does not guarantee that every attachment or exercise setup fits; check the exact product requirements.

Why can I not buy the conversion kit?

The current BlackBear kit variant is unavailable and has no confirmed selling price. It remains visible for clarity and cannot be added to the basket.

Can BlackBear install it?

Yes. Request a separate installation quote based on your location and equipment using the form below.

Is shipping included?

Yes. Free shipping is included. The equipment is supplied unassembled unless you arrange installation separately.

Absolutely love the Oblivion Tower. The build quality feels solid and commercial-grade, while the compact footprint makes it perfect for a garage gym where space matters. The cable movement is smooth, the adjustable pulley positions make it incredibly versatile, and there are so many exercises you can do with a single tower.
I also really like the 3" x 3" uprights and attachment compatibility, which gives plenty of options to customise the setup. It has quickly become one of the most-used pieces of equipment in my home gym. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it. 5 stars!

IF YOU PURCHASE THE ADDITIONAL BACK UPRIGHT AND ARE USING THE ASSEMBLY VIDEO, SKIP TO THE END WHERE IT TELLS YOU WHERE TO INSERT IT BEFORE YOU BUILD THE WHOLE THING. (Everything else was great)

I recently purchased the Oblivyon Cable Tower along with a myriad of other attachments and home gym accoutrements. I live and had the items shipped to a very northern, rural first nation in Ontario and as such, had some issues with shipping and delivery (both delays and missing freight) Whether to the fault of BOS or the shipping company i can't say, and have come to expect shipping difficulties due to where I live.

Throughout these delays and difficulties, I will say that Christian and the rest of the customer service team were rather spectacular. Very timely email responses, transparent and thorough answers to questions, and provided a feeling of genuine care about the issue which is sometimes missing from todays customer service. I would recommend BOS based on these interactions alone.

Once arrived and assembled, the cable tower and attachments all feel very solid and high quality through a variety of movements. Even though not bolted down yet (Will be soon) the entire set up feels incredibly stable and smooth. I am most excited about the keyhole system of both 1" and 5/8" holes so that when it comes time, i will be able to expand the home gym without too much concern of compatibility.

My only gripe is the provided paper assembly instructions for the cable tower are in my opinion rather convoluted and lacking. The entire booklet itself is only a few pages, and it is because each "step" includes a large paragraph listing off a number of different actual steps and needed hardware. Accompanied by a singular small picture with a hundred different miniscule lines exemplifying where hardware is supposed to go.

In light of this, i chose to use the assembly instructional video provided by BOS on the cable tower page itself. Which in and of itself served its purpose and was much better and easier to follow than the paper instructions. HOWEVER, if you purchased the optional back upright for the tower like i myself did; the video they provide des not mention its use in the assembly until almost the end of the 11-minute video, after the entire tower being pretty much assembled. It is at this point, that they mention in the video that the optional back upright needs to be placed in pretty much step 1 or 2 of the assembly. At no point does it make mention of that or warn you about swapping the back upright piece out before then. So after hours of assembly, i had to try and manouever and loosen a several hundred pound steel contraption to a point where i could somehow insert the back upright piece in without taking the whole thing, that i just spent hours assembling, apart.

So BOS, if you are reading this, that is my only recommendation is please make it more clear in your assembly video when and where to insert the extra back upright when assembling. because i almost had an aneurysm.

This is a fantastic machine. The pulleys are incredibly smooth, and the whole unit is very sturdy. It allows for a ton of different exercises and is the perfect complement to my adjustable kettlebells.

I will note that the pin holes and number cutouts on the front support are quite sharp. The rear brace is powder-coated and doesn't have this issue, so it's a minor detail overall and definitely not worth deducting a star. 5/5.

As a work-from-home dad in British Columbia, building a multipurpose garage gym, space efficiency, and quality were everything to me. The Oblyvion cable tower by Bells of Steel delivers on both completely.
The 3x3 footprint is genuinely compact, critical for my single-car garage gym. The laser-cut numbers make switching between exercises fast and smooth, and the cables glide perfectly every single rep.
I also own the seated row pad attachment, and the combination of the two completely transformed my back training. One attachment, zero extra footprint, full seal row capability.
That's the Bells of Steel ecosystem working exactly as promised, and I love how creative I can go with that: I can now do leg extensions, leg curls, hip thrusts, and rows with that!
Build quality is exceptional. This feels like equipment built to last decades, not years.
But beyond the product, Bells of Steel as a company is something special.
A proudly Canadian brand that started from nothing and built something world-class. Every time I train on this tower, I'm proud and happy to support them.
If you're building a home gym and you're on the fence, get off it. The Oblyvion is the real deal.

I purchased this tower to get away from doing just barbell and dumbbell workouts and it’s added huge versatility to my lifts and my overall muscle growth. Some of the attachments I purchased for my Bells of Steel Kraken work great on it. I just wish it was about 5” taller for doing lat work with the seal row pad being used as a seat. And I’d also like a variant of the 2:1 adapter where it just has a Center hole versus a perpendicular carabiner attachment. On MAG grips you need to use a second carabiner to line up the attachment hole and you lose that much more height.

Outside of that, great piece of kit, decently easy to assemble solo. Follow the instruction manual, not the video on YouTube as that appears to assemble a beta test rack and not the actual rack you will receive.

I am very happy with the cable tower. Very solid build and the pulling is super smooth and silent. The resistance feels much smoother than many cable towers at the gym. I went with the full package with the back upright for future versatility and the weight stack for convenience.

The installation was straightforward and I managed to assemble everything by myself. However, I did have to buy 2 wrenches as I did not have anything big enough to tension the 1 inch bolts at the base. I ended up bolting it to the wall using two 3-inch self-tapping wood washer-head screws with wider washers to connect to the top L-bracket. Even with the weight stack and rear upright, the cable tower could pivot if pulled perpendicularly with the trolley at the top.

The only frustration I had initially was that the trolley height was very difficult to adjust and felt almost stuck to the stainless steel upright. I realized this was due to oil and sticky residue left on the stainless steel upright, probably from machining. After cleaning it, the trolley moves much more smoothly. The stainless steel upright did look a bit dirty at first.

The finer details are nice, such as the included swivel shackles that are much easier to use than clipping and unclipping carabiners. I am officially converted. The aluminum handles are also very nice to use. However, they do dent a little if you let them go after a set and they hit the tower. I personally don’t find this to be an issue.

As for the weight horns, they seem a bit smaller than shown on the website, which is actually helpful given the tighter space I’m working with.

Other than that, the workouts are great and the tower is now an integral part of all my sessions.

Overall, it is very good product and am extremely happy with it. I highly recommend it!

I do like the tower. The only issue I have is the cable is very “tight” or slightly short. I have to lean heavily on the weight stack to get pin in, I have to force the pin in the weight stack. Does this stretch out? Or is there anything I can do to fix this?
