Great Rack-Mounted Barbell Holder

This rack-mounted barbell tube is extremely solid and feels like it will last a lifetime. I purchased the Hydra version because it’s compatible with my REP PR-4000 rack, but for now I mounted it to my Bells of Steel cable machine using shorter bolts, where it’s holding my Bells of Steel EZ Curl Bar perfectly. The build quality is excellent, and it’s a simple, sturdy storage solution that keeps my EZ curl bar secure and out of the way without taking up any floor space.

Great accessory for the home gym…

Bought the commercial power rack from BOS back in 2021 and over the last 4 years have added a dip attachment, Bulgarian split squat attachment, glute-ham-ab roller, slant board, and now the barbell storage attachment. Love everything by BOS!!! As you can see from the pics, my gym is on my back porch and is as well equipped as most any home gym you can find! Thanks Bells of Steel!!

Like most users, I have a fair low ceiling in my basement gym so this isn’t ideal for a full sized barbell. That being said, I bought this for my ez curl bar and its a great storage solution. Tucks away neatly to keep it out of the way when not in use. It could also be wall mounted into a stud if you’re so inclined.

Good product, lousy overall experience

Pros:
- product itself is perfect and is a great addition to my rack. Appropriately priced, and seems to be of high quality.

Cons:
- inadequate hardware package. Only suitable for 2"x2" racks. I had to go purchase my own bolts so it'd work on my 3x3 rack.
- shipping cost as much as the item itself. Not a cost effective purchase unless you're buying it with something else.

Overall
Based off just the attachment it's a 5-star product, but the cons are fairly significant in terms of money. You're basically spending an additional $30 for a $25 product.

Manufacturer capacity: 220lb. Allow adequate overhead clearance; ceilings below 9ft may make loading a standard bar difficult.
