Weight Stack Functional Trainer

Great piece of equipment, well made , looking forward to many years of use !

The customer service is crazy top notch. Order was delivered and truck driver mentioned that it got damaged in shipping and to mark it damaged. I contacted customer support and right away they said - don’t worry, we got you. Unpack it and let us know the damage.

Luckily it was just outer packaging that was damaged and the functional trainer was unharmed.

Now onto the trainer itself. Easy to put together even without instructions (beware the requirement for a larger than average wrench for pull-up bar). Super smooth, easy to exercise with family. Rigged up a lat pull down that’s solid.

They have a customer for life, if even go with BoS. Not to mention the equipment is phenomenal and will easily last my lifetime and that of my kids!

Plus it’s Canadian - so massive thumbs up.

Just got the plate loaded version set up a couple weeks ago. Was easy to put together, and its extremely smooth. Seems very durable, and I'm not worried about parts wearing or anything at this point, everything seems very quality. The price was very tough to beat folks, can't go wrong.

I’ve had this over a year and I use it almost daily for all my clients in my training studio and it has given me no problems whatsoever. My biggest gripe is that I only bought 1. Beyond worth it!

I’ve had it for about a year now and it is a solid machine. Haven’t had any issues with it. It is well built, fairly easy to build, and hold up to daily home use. I definitely recommend getting this.

Wonderful addition to our home gym which already hosted a 6 post Hydra rack and lat pull down tower. Pulleys are smooth,

The footprint is small and is made with good quality material. Aluminum wheels are standard and with the different accessories available it’s the best functional trainer that you will find at that price.

We decided to purchase this trainer because of (1.) how low the lowest starting weight is (none of its competitors matches the Bells Trainer here); (2.) the fact that this is clearly made for someone of average height (i.e., not a 6' 7" human); and (3.) the very reasonable price point. We had the trainer for nearly a month and have used it almost everyday! It works really well for us!

I would also be remiss if I didn't add that the service I've received from Bells has been unparalleled! I messed badly in assembling the trainer (due to my own incompetence!) -- but the Bells employee I interacted with was incredibly helpful!

At this point, we love the trainer! We have no buyer's remorse or regrets!

Just got mine and assembled it. So far we are loving it. Great rig and really appreciate the assembly video. My only feedback is that it would have been nice if the packages labelled the bolts :).

Bought this functional trainer primarily because of the overall product weight. My home gym is on the second floor and this was one of the lightest I found. Obviously you can get a more heavy duty piece of equipment but for what this offered at price point and weight this is working out really well. Delivered in 10 boxes missing one box lost in transit. GREAT response from Bells of Steel. No questions, no “let’s look into this,” just shipped out missing pieces the next day. Easy to assemble on my own for the most part. May need a hand to hold something up to get a bolt in but straight forward assembly. Smooth operation which was the first thing I checked for. Would really like a bit taller product with one more upper pulley position and I’m 5’11”. If my gym was on first floor probably would have opted for heavier gauge product and 180 or 200lb weight stack if I wanted to spend another 1k but for my setup this is damn near perfect.
Side note: open the hooks up a bit more to hang accessories. Have to hook them on with carabiners instead of just hanging them up on their own because the hooks are bent too far closed

I have been using the Functional Trainer for about a month now and am amazed by the product quality and overall value! It takes up a very small footprint but takes advantage of tremendous engineering to deliver smooth and fluent workouts with nearly limitless exercises. Best trainer on the market, hands down!

I did a lot of shopping around for functional trainers. All of the trainers I saw under $2800 seemed cheap and felt cheap. This unit is solid and smooth. The footprint is perfect for a home gym yet functions like a high end commercial functional trainer. I’m seriously impressed. The instructions were brutal but the YouTube video builds made up for it. Overall I couldn’t be happier.

It's awesome and I can do so many different exercises on the machine. Very smoothly too, my only complaint is the assembly. None of the bolts were labeled and it's not really a step by step guide. More of an exploded view. But once you get through putting it together you won't regret it.

Overall I’m happy with the functional trainer from Bells of Steel. Its compact which is great for the footprint in my home gym and high enough for a variety of exercises. The video instructions from BOS made it easy to assemble it by myself. The only issue that prevented me from giving it 5-stars is the packaging needs improvement. Some of the parts had scratches or chips on it. Once everything is assembled its not as noticeable.

I purchased several items from BOS and this is a great addition to my home gym.
