The Open Hex Trap Bar is great speciality bar to allow for a wide range of exercises such as lunges, deadlifts, bent over rows and carries. The trap bar all but guarantees to take your lower back out of the lifting element and puts much more emphasis on the quads and glutes, due to the sheer design of how you hold this barbell.

The open aspect enables the user to perform various exercises that would be all but impossible using a standard hex bar and or standard Olympic barbell.

The built in bar jack enables the bar to stand up to make it easy loading and removing weight plates. Also makes storing the hex bar much more effecient.

The sleeves are rotating for smooth transitions when lifting.

What makes the open hex special?
As mentioned above, the open trap bar has a massive improvement on your deadlift style. Importantly if you're looking to remove your lower back out of the lift due to injury or a weakness, maybe. It can be stood upright to load and unload plates which in itself means you're saving your grip and fingers by not having to lift the bar off the floor to drag plates off!

These bars can withstand very frequent and rigorous use. They're designed to be used and can accommodate all types of gyms, home gym to commercial.
